     John H. Lewis was born in Barren County, Kentucky.¹ He is the son of Simeon Lewis and Sarah Campbell.¹
     
D. Hugh Puckett notes that he's been able to PROVE this John H. Lewis to be a son of Simeon and Sarah Lewis and "short of a document stating that Thomas was a brother of John H. Lewis this is about as good evidence as one gets." He cites the following documents:

In DB 15/116, 30 Oct. 1832 JAS. THOMAS and wife, Rachel, deeded 500 acs. for $2,000 to Samuel HARRIS. Adjoining owners named were Wm. C. Middleton, Sampson Sawyer, Wm. B. Smith, Lina Mims, Brown's line to Potters 150 ac. on Treasury Warrent No. 37. Wits. R. W. Lucas, JOHN WALLACE, JOHN H. LEWIS.

In Warren County, Kentucky DB 15/421, 2 Aug. 1834 is deed from Abraham Kemble and Mary F., his wife, of Graves Co., KY, to JOHN H. LEWIS 140 7/8 acs. for $563.50 with one of the corners being that of THOS. LEWIS and adj. a survey to JAS. THOMAS and the "fence" of Major HARRIS.²

     Charles Stanley Watkins and Gertrude Agnes Hart were united in marriage by Rev. Winthrope Allison, daughter of William M. Hart and Mary Jane Lewis, on 20 November 1912 at Ontario, California; further note in Bible: "Notice Grandmas Nov. 30 1854 Nov. 20 1912 -- 58 years less 10 days" (I assume this means to call attention to the fact that Gertrude Agnes married nearly 58 years to the day after her grandmother Isabel married John).

     Mary Elizabeth Watkins was born on 9 October 1913. She is the daughter of Charles Stanley Watkins and Gertrude Agnes Hart.

     Virginia Olive Watkins was born on 7 April 1915. She is the daughter of Charles Stanley Watkins and Gertrude Agnes Hart.

     Robert Cleon Hart was born on 14 December 1894. He is the son of William M. Hart and Mary Jane Lewis.

     Elizabeth Larkin married Henry Pierpont, son of Father of Henry Pierpont, circa 1637.
     

In 1635 Elizabeth Larkin was brought into Wassaquinoake County by John Upton, and in 1637 she was transported by John Upton to the Isle of Wight County. Virgina records show that at that time there was only one single woman in the colony named Elizabeth and it is assumed by many that since Henry Pierpont also arrived in Virginia at this time and married a woman named Elizabeth in this place that it must have been Elizabeth Larkin. (I would like to know who John Upton is, he who "brought her into Wassaquinoake County" and "transported" her to the Isle of Wight County).¹

     Ann Summerland married Henry Pierpont, son of Father of Henry Pierpont, between 1668 and 1700.
     Don't know at all if Ann Summerland is the mother of Henry Pierpont's last 4 children or if it was first wife Elizabeth Larkin (who would probably have been mid-50s around 1668). I suspect Ann Summerland must have been the mother of some of them, perhaps the last three, especially if Mary was born around 1677, 9 years or more after her brother Charles, which would have put Elizabeth Larkin somewhere in her 60s.      Amos Pierpont was born in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. He is the son of Henry Pierpont and Elizabeth Larkin.

     Jabez Pierpont was born in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. He is the son of Henry Pierpont and Elizabeth Larkin.

     Elizabeth Pierpont was born in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. She is the daughter of Henry Pierpont and Elizabeth Larkin.
