Edward married Isabella of France, daughter of King Phillip of France, on 25 January 1308 at Boulogne-sur-Mer, France.1 Edward II Plantagenet, King of England died on 21 September 1327 in Berkeley Castle, England, at age 43 years, 4 months and 27 days. Murdered by captors.

Misruled for 20 years and was deposed and murdered in captivity. Youngest son and only surviving child of Edward I and Eleanor of Castile, he was a total disappointment to his masterful father.
