     Reuben Harris married Sarah Gill. Reuben Harris died in 1852 in Bellair, Belmont County, Ohio.1
     
Reuben lived in Hagarstown, Maryland and teamed between Hagarstown and Ellicot Mills with Albinus Davis. As Ellicott Mills was founded by the Ellicott Brothers just before the Revolution, and they supplied flour to the armies, it is believed that they may have been engaged in carrying supplies to Hagarstown, then known as Elizabeth Town.1

[Kerry's Note: Is the above-mentioned Albinus Davis the brother of Richard Carter Davis who married Reuben Harris' granddaughter, Margaret Keyser?]

Reuben had a brother, William Harris, who went to Texas in the early days.

     Reuben Henry Fairchild was born on 25 April 1829 in Woodstock, Rush Township, Champaign County, Ohio. He was the son of Harmon Fairchild and Phebe Franklin. Reuben Henry Fairchild married Huldah Rozina Marsh, daughter of Isaac Wood Marsh and Susan Smith, on 4 April 1852 in Woodstock, Rush Township, Champaign County, Ohio. Reuben Henry Fairchild died on 15 March 1918 in Berkeley, Alameda County, California, at age 88 years, 10 months and 18 days.
     
In the year of their marriage they removed to Metamora, Illinois.
Reuben Henry Fairchild appeared on the census of 1900 in the household of James Oliver Davis and Rozina Phebe Fairchild at York Street, Houston, Harris County, Texas. J.O. was listed as a Civil Engineer, Fred (12) and Richard (10) were shown as being in school. John (7), Willard (5) and Helen (3) were also shown in the household. Rozina's parents, Reuben and Huldah Fairchild, were also listed as being part of the household at this time.1
