     Huldah Rozina Marsh was born on 10 October 1834 in Woodstock, Rush Township, Champaign County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Isaac Wood Marsh and Susan Smith. Huldah Rozina Marsh married Reuben Henry Fairchild, son of Harmon Fairchild and Phebe Franklin, on 4 April 1852 in Woodstock, Rush Township, Champaign County, Ohio. Huldah Rozina Marsh died on 28 September 1904 in Houston, Harris County, Texas, at age 69 years, 11 months and 18 days.
     
In the year of their marriage they removed to Metamora, Illinois.
Huldah Rozina Marsh appeared on the census of 1900 in the household of James Oliver Davis and Rozina Phebe Fairchild at York Street, Houston, Harris County, Texas. J.O. was listed as a Civil Engineer, Fred (12) and Richard (10) were shown as being in school. John (7), Willard (5) and Helen (3) were also shown in the household. Rozina's parents, Reuben and Huldah Fairchild, were also listed as being part of the household at this time.¹

     Harmon Fairchild was born on 5 May 1808 in Vermont. He was the son of Reuben Fairchild and Huldey (or Huldah?) Lane (Lardi?). Harmon Fairchild married Phebe Franklin, daughter of Henry Franklin and Polly Franklin, circa 1828 in Woodstock, Ohio. Harmon Fairchild died in 1843 in Woodstock, Ohio, at age 34 years. Died from the effects of the kick of a horse.
     
It appears to me that Polly Franklin, Phebe's mother, was the second wife of Reuben Fairchild, Harmon's father. So Harmon and Phebe may have grown up together as stepchildren (KSD).

     Phebe Franklin was born on 9 July 1812 in Vermont. She was the daughter of Henry Franklin and Polly Franklin. Phebe Franklin married Harmon Fairchild, son of Reuben Fairchild and Huldey (or Huldah?) Lane (Lardi?), circa 1828 in Woodstock, Ohio. Phebe Franklin died on 22 December 1891 in Metamora, Woodford County, Illinois, at age 79 years, 5 months and 13 days. Aged 79 yrs., 5 mo., 13 days.
     
It appears to me that Polly Franklin, Phebe's mother, was the second wife of Reuben Fairchild, Harmon's father. So Harmon and Phebe may have grown up together as stepchildren (KSD).

After Harmon died in 1843, Phebe removed with her family to Metamora, Illinois in 1852.

     Reuben Fairchild was born on 19 October 1779 in Connecticut. He was the son of Daniel Fairchild and Sarah Lane. Reuben Fairchild married Huldey (or Huldah?) Lane (Lardi?) on 30 August 1798 in Shelburn, Vermont. Reuben Fairchild married Polly Franklin, she was a widow. This was a late-in-life marriage for Reuben. Reuben Fairchild died on 8 September 1858 in Metamora, Woodford County, Illinois, at age 78 years, 10 months and 20 days.
     Reuben removed from Woodstock, Ohio in 1852 to Metamora, Illinois, where he died.

     Huldey (or Huldah?) Lane (Lardi?) married Reuben Fairchild, son of Daniel Fairchild and Sarah Lane, on 30 August 1798 in Shelburn, Vermont.

     Daniel Fairchild married Sarah Lane on 25 December 1770 in Redding, Fairfield County, Connecticut.¹
     
In 1788, Daniel Fairchild and his sons moved from Redding, Connecticut to Shelburn, Vermont, traveling in company with a Jonathan Lyon with his family of two sons and four daughters. Lyon's sons were Robert and William. Fairchild's sons were Jacob, Reuben and Henry.²

The family appeared on the Census of 1790 for Shelburn, Vermont: Males over 16: 3; Males under 16: 1; Female: 1.³

The Fairchild family all emigrated to Ohio before 1813.⁴

     Henry Franklin married Polly Franklin.

     Isaac Wood Marsh was born on 8 January 1798 in Hartland, Windsor County, Vermont. He was the son of Samuel Marsh and Huldah Wood. Isaac Wood Marsh married Susan Smith, daughter of Philip Smith and Fairozina Willard, on 13 January 1825 in Stowe, Lomille County (then Washington County), Vermont. See attached copy of Marriage Certificate.¹ Isaac Wood Marsh died on 13 July 1848 in Woodstock, Rush Township, Champaign County, Ohio, at age 50 years, 6 months and 5 days.

     Susan Smith was born on 18 October 1808 in Stowe, Lomille County, Vermont. She was the daughter of Philip Smith and Fairozina Willard. Susan Smith married Isaac Wood Marsh, son of Samuel Marsh and Huldah Wood, on 13 January 1825 in Stowe, Lomille County (then Washington County), Vermont. See attached copy of Marriage Certificate.¹ Susan Smith died on 12 October 1853 in Woodstock, Rush Township, Champaign County, Ohio, at age 44 years, 11 months and 24 days.
