     Thomas Davis was born on 2 September 1722 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. His birth was registered in Queen Caroline Parish, Elkridge, Anne Arundel County, Maryland (source for this specific info is unclear).1 He was the son of Richard Davis and Ruth Warfield. Thomas Davis married Mary Sappington, daughter of Dr. Francis Browne Sappington, circa 1741/42.2 Thomas Davis married Anne Culver between 1743/44 and 1746. Sources give Anne Culver as wife of this Thomas. Anne Arundel County Church Records show: "A. Davis, wife of Thomas buried 1713/14 All Hallows Parish." (The dates would indicate that it was a different Thomas Davis who was married to that Anne Culver.) [Unclear where this specific source came from]. Anne was Thomas' second wife, and the one by whom he had children (Hurley).2 Thomas Davis died between 1759 and 1776.
     He inherited 194 acres called "Davis' Purchase." [Source for this data unclear at this time]

The will of Thomas Culver of Frederick County was written November 7, 1758, in which he provides for certain payments to Drusilla Davis, eldest daughter of his sister Anne Davis.3

     John Davis was baptized on 2 May 1723 in All Hallows Parish, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. He was born on 6 October 1726.1 He was the son of Richard Davis and Ruth Warfield. John Davis married Ariana Worthington in 1758. John Davis died before 7 November 1778.
     Will probated 7 Nov 1778. Inherited 58 acres in "Dear Bought." Birth Registered Queen Caroline Parish.

     Caleb Davis was born on 10 September 1731 and the birth was registered in Queen Caroline Parish. He was the son of Richard Davis and Ruth Warfield. Caleb Davis married Lucretia Griffith. Caleb Davis died before June 1769.
     Caleb fought in the Revolutionary War. He was given by his Grandfather, Thomas Davis, "Duvall's Delight," which consisted of two hundred acres. He also inherited 93 acres called "The Reverse."

     Elizabeth Davis was born before 16 July 1721.2 She was baptized on 16 July 1721 in All Hallows Parish, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. She was the daughter of Richard Davis and Ruth Warfield.
     
Elizabeth married her first cousin, John Marriott, son of Augustine Marriott and Mary Warfield. They had children: Ruth, Rachel, Elizabeth, John and Richard. Richard married Sarah Hammond, daughter of John Hammond, and had at least one son: William Hammond Marriott, General.3

In about October 1743, Elizabeth Inherited personal estate from her father.3

     Birth registered Queen Carolien Parish. He inherited personal estate plus 50 acres "Davis' Purchase."
